Perkins 4.236
Can anyone tell me if there are differences in a marine diesel Perkins 1987 4.236 and a 1990? would parts such as the oil cooler work for either engine.

With Perkins you need the serial number off the engine not just the model number. There have been many different 4.236 engines. Good news is parts are available.
