If that little piston #7 gets stuck it might cause the problem you’re having with the anti stall valve

Set the anti stall to approx my above settings. What else did you do to the engine? Filter replacement? Pull any lp lines? If you suspect an air leak check all the rubber olives on your filter housing and lift pump. Insert a clear length of hose before your lift pump and pull fuel into a bucket etc. Double check to make sure you didn’t add a second gasket to your filter or didn’t install the o ring. I would install an inline fuel pulp to make this easier as well. Report back

Ok, I will report back, yes I replaced the water separator and fuel filter. It ran like a jewel before I did this... I am going to do what you suggested. Not running I understand but running good and not leaking except if the anti-stall is loose I do not understand but I will report back the clear line is a good idea so I can see if there are any bubbles.

Im in the same boat as everyone else here.
Anti stall valve broken top screw head on newly installed rebuilt pump while trying to bleed. (Dont use this to bleed, thanks fate for letting me find out AFTER!)

Double depression! I ordered the part from the UK but this seems like its going to continue to be a pain in the arse.

I will install it at approximately the same distance as the original ( I can see the paint line on the threads)
