perkins 4.107 / 4.108

Can somebody give me advice how to remove the transmission from the engine. The reversing clutch need to be replaced. Specifications: perkins engine 4.107 or 4.108 with probably paragon hydraulic transmission.

Pretty much unbolt the shaft coupler, push it back, disconnect the cables, all the bolts from the transmission to bell housing and pull it straight back. It might not be hydraulic my 4.108 was not.

Celestialsailor is correct. I helped a friend pull a paragon from a 4.107. you might have to unbolt the engine and slide it forward a bit. Be sure to support it. My friend trashed his Paragon and installed a Borg Warner, which by the way I have an extra one along with a bellhousing. You'll have to change the flex plate. The entire assembly may be a slightly different length.

Thanks for your reaction. I have the transmission removed from the engine and i want to replace the flex plate. Can you send me a picture of the Borg Warner and the bellhousing? I stay at the moment in Curacao, caribbean.
