parts for a 1981 Mariner 8B outboard.

Hey everyone,
If anyone has a source for parts that are compatible with the above mentioned outboard engine, I would be eternally grateful. I am having a heck of a time finding a replacement thumb screw assembly for the transom bracket, and Mercury Marine no longer stocks this part. If there's something compatible, I am open to suggestions. Also, I am looking for a compatible fuel filter and fuel line, as well as replacement ignition wires. I have new spark plugs, but am not sure if I can swap out the spark plug lines. For all you seasoned outboard mechanics out there reading this, yes, I am very new at this outboard overhaul thing, but believe me, I am determined. Any and all advice is welcome, and if you have links to parts available in Canada, even better! If you have one of these engines for parts, let me know what you have available as I'm sure there will be more parts I will need to replace. Thank you all for your time.
