Has anyone removed the 2 stroke power head and replaced it with a 4 stroke power head? Is this possible?

I wonder if the footprint and the bolt pattern is the same. I kind of doubt it

And, though I don't have any links, there are plenty of people who replace the powerheads on outboards with lawnmower engines and electric motors...
