New Vacuum Gauge for Racor 500/900 &1000

Hi all,

just installed the new Vacuum Gauge from Fuelfixers. (Fuel Fixers - Filter Change Gauges)

Very easy to install as it comes complete with a new T-handel, which I like as I need still no tools to change the Filter. I think the price is very fair compare to other gauges (80 US) Was shipped the next day - very easy to deal with them. Since is Racor approved and shows the status as well when the Engine is off I consider that as a real advantage.

Since my filters are new I have currently no reading, but assume it works as promised. Will keep you posted.

cheers Marco

PS. No connection at all with the company - just think worth to consider!

Considering that the Racor RK 11-1669 T-HANDLE VACUUM GAUGE shown above has no T handle, I wonder why you need the T handle version sold by Fuelfixers shown below?

Couldn't the version without the T handle be used, like the Racor?

That would make it $38-50 (Fuel Fixers) Vs $127 (Racor)

Ebay has NEW Racor guages selling for $90

I guess you right, you may have talk to the company directly. But what I do not like is the fact that I may now need a wrench to open the Filter (thats the reason I did not like the Racor as above). Imagine rough seas and the filter gets clogged I just need to have a Filter handy and can change without searching in the toolbox for the correct wrench. For me worth the extra money....

The Fuel Fixers non-T-handle gauge can not be screwed into the top of a Racor. The threads are wrong.

Such an easy fix warranting a few dollars, not $40
