Lubricate Max Prop

Maxprop recommends Lubriplate 130AA grease. I have tubes of this grease. I have a lousy grease gun I'd like to replace.
I'm looking for an easy to fill & easy to use underwater grease gun that will hold up to salt water.
Recommendations?

An immediate good wash down with fresh water and then spray with WD-40 should preserve any steel grease gun. The inside is full of grease so no problem there.

But if you want to spend the money here's a SS grease gun.

I use a cheap, auto supply store grease gun for lubricating Max Props underwater. I usually don't even bother to rinse it. Has lasted for years. My advice is don't spend a penny more than you have to.

Aren't the guns you both describe the kind that use a cartridge? I have a tube of the lubriplate grease I need to put into a grease gun.

Nope. Mine accepts a screw-in tube.

Sorry, my mistake.
It doesn't come in 14.5 oz tubes for the standard grease gun.

If yer swimming around , doing it underwater, the flexible hose is handier than the solid one. Less apt to fall off when you gotta go grab some more air.
