Looking for Opinions on Transmissions
I'm getting ready to put out the money for a Beta Marine 30hp diesel to replace my Volvo Penta MD17C.

I have the choice of two transmissions, the standard one is the TMC 40 and the other is a PRM 80 which will cost me about $250 more.

I know nothing about marine transmissions, and am looking for opinions.
