Looking for a mechanic Referral Perkins-Prima

I have a customer that has a Perkins Prima Engine in his sailboat.

It needs the timing belt replaced. The engine is currently operational

I do not have the tools or the experience on these engines to undertake this job.

I reviewed the manual for the repair....since I don't know of a mechanic that could guide me thru it, I would prefer to refer this job to someone who has the tools and the expertise.

Don't know anyone Chief but that says something about your character. Good on you.

Chief is a good guy. Though don't tell him I said so, he gets way too sappy when you say nice things about him.

Chief,

If you haven't found anyone yet, you might consider Harvey Smith at Annapolis Marine Diesel. I heard a rumor he may have retired, but if not Harvey's tops!

Harvey Smith has relocated to New Bern, NC. He still works but I doubt he would be interested in a job so far away.
