Long shaft log hose

Hi everyone,

I'm planning to replace my shaft log hose as I don't know how old it is and it's leaking a bit. It seems to be 2.25" ID and 8" long, but everything I've found online is at most 5" long.

Any suggestion where I could find (online) something with those dimensions?

Thanks in advance!

Re: Long shaft log hose

Hello - I have the new stern tube hose you need in stock. 2.25" ID, 1 foot long, 5 ply hose, designed for this critical application. We also suggest using "T Bolt" type clamps, VERY superior clamping action as compared to the common worm drive hose clamps. Please contact me off list for details. Joe

Re: Long shaft log hose

For our Lasdrop dripless, they used this hose https://tridentmarine.com/product/tr...-water-202v-2/ instead of the bellows we had on the older model.
The standard length for their dripless was 5-6" and when we talked to the tech people they said we could go longer if needed.

Not a cheap hose, but shouldn't need to replace it for many years.

edit: found the standard stuffing box hose in 12" lengths https://www.deepblueyachtsupply.com/...cking-box-hose
