Leak From Bosch K Type Injection Pump?

kubota zl600 2 cylinder with cam driven bosch k type pump.
after 2 hours running under load engine cut coming into the dock when i reduced revs.

checked the oil level, and it is right up the stick, suspect the injection pump is leaking for it to dump so much fuel into the oil.(+1 liter)

just fitted this engine which runs fine, starts fine, very little smoke and doesnt overheat.reasonable compression also.
it has no lift pump,as it is gravity fed so not that.
no exsessive blow by from the breather.

any body had this type of problem from the bosch k type pump?
before i take it out thought i'd run it past the panel for opinions.
i did notice the exhaust left an oily trail.
