KBW10 Transmission for Yanmar 2gm15 Replace, rebuild or new

Boat has had water 11 inches inside Replaced shift cable after motor sailing from Fla to Mobile Bay in forward. Unble to shift into reverse or forward. Added new fluid and it leaked right out. Need to pull trans anyway. What do you with experience recommend? New? Used? Rebuild with Mack boring?

a KBW on a 2GM. That doesn't sound right?
Are you sure on your models or has someone adapted this to fit?

How about a 2QM? Transmission id plate was photographed by my admiral as she is small and is good at" boat yoga"

ah, makes sense now.
KBW10 is cheap and plentiful. I've found it's almost more cost effective to get a new one.
