Wow,

Just copied down all the numbers for my old Jabsco pumps and they don't seem to have corresponding numbers for new pumps.

Can anyone help me? I need to order a service kit for my Jabsco cooling pump.

I went on the Jabsco site and downloaded the manual for my then waterpump in my Airstream soon to be bilge pump on my boat.

Thanks delmarrey but I can't open the pdf file. Seems like for some reason pdf files are being block on my computer. Will try to sort it out.
What's the number on the new pump you sent a photo of?

It's for all the 777 series. It's a large file, it may just take a while to download. It came from the jabsco site.

Yeah, it shows one kit for all the models. I'm on a PC right now and it will not do a real screen shot. Later I'll be on my Mac and then I can shoot you a real picture of a parts list sheet and you can compare dimensions to the 777 series list.

For now it shows a neoprene impeller as #17937-0001 and a service kit as 90010-0001 but it only includes an o-ring and/or gasket. Also, I'll get those dim's on the impeller later from a catolog at home.

Does yours have a face seal or lip seal for the shaft?

OK, now I'm in front of a real computer. Here's the deal. The impeller # above is for a 5/8" splined shaft and is 2-9/16" OD X 2" wide w/ 10 blades. And here are the over all dim's. and below is a brake down. Is this your pump. If so, you have the kit #'s If not, more research.

Darned if you didn't ask me a hard question. Face seal versus lip seal. Guess I'll have to dig a little deeper into the pump.
At any rate. Thanks for the research. You've done much more for me than expected and it is appreciated. I believe that to be my pump in the diagram.

In the picture on the right #'s 9,10 & 11 is the lip seal assembly w/ 10 being the seal and 9 & 11 being pre-1964. #12 is the face seal assembly. And the slinger #6 is only used with the face seal #12.

If you have a pre-1964 you may want to upgrade with a new pump just so parts are available.

Thanks Delmarrey for all your help. As far as I can see there is no #13 in my pump. Do I need it?
Do you know a source for the parts? I've got calls in to Jabsco but no returns yet.

#13 is a replaceable wear plate. It'll be lodged against the front face of the pump cavity, if you do have one. it maybe blending in with the casting. If you do, and its not worn too bad, it should be OK. Most newer pumps don't use them anymore.
