Last summer on my trip trip to Alaska
the gauges in the instrument panel for my universal diesel
developed a slight bounce for all the gauges. (Tach, voltage, oil
, and temp.) It was only slight at first but developed to where now, nothing is readable/reliable. Also they bounce at idle and and at cruising speed, but will react a little bit with the increase in rpm's. I'm trying to get everything ready for this summer, which means fixing everything I broke last summer and properly functioning gauges are a priority. Has anyone dealt with this issue? I've been looking for loose wires leading from the panel, but everything looks clean with no corrosion
. Does anyone have any ideas on how to trouble shoot this?
