Installing a Seal on Injection Pump

I have a fuel leak. It appears to be coming from the stop lever seal on the injection pump. For the record, it is a DPA3247F190 hydraulic pump. I’m in Spanish Wells, Eleuthera, at the moment, and no one seems to have the knowledge to replace the seal. I have ordered a seal kit and should receive it Sat. Has anyone had any experience with replacing this seal, that could offer some advice and possible walk me through this. There is a mechanic here that would probably help if I could get enough info to make him feel more comfortable.
Thanks in advance for any input.

Take a look at this and see if it matches your pump. I think it's the right one, but I'm not sure:

If you've gotta be stuck, Spanish Wells is a ggod choice.

Need to get to WiFi to open link. Thanks. If I can’t make the fix, I may just decide to live here.

Re: Installing a Seal on Injection Pump

If you can get some WiFi, this YouTube has the complete disassembly of a C.A.V. DPA injection pump.

Skip ahead to 17:30 for removal of the top cover to repair leaks in the stop lever. The top cover can come off with the pump on the engine. As explained in the video (at about 19:30) there is a spring between the top cover and the throttle plate. This can be attached to one of several points on the throttle plate, you want to put it back in the same place as you found it. Same with the spring on the throttle lever inside the top cover (if you remove that shaft to replace the seal while you are in there). If all you want to deal with is the shaft seals you can skip ahead to about 35:30 for the shaft seals once you see the cover removal.

This one is a stop-motion that is much faster, a few better angles:
