It’s an Indonesian company in Jakarta, not Singapore and it can’t be selling the products it does at the prices listed.......unless they’re copy engines from
India or
China. Engines were once marinised for Vetus in
India and I’ve personally bought Caterpillar and Cummins engines from
China with great results and low prices...... amazingly low prices.
I still fail to see how this Indonesian company can have such a diverse product list with everything from full DC
propulsion packages and high
power outboards through to the Cummins QSM range even if they sell copies. I do eventually intend to enter into an online conversation with them with a view to
purchasing from them but I’m going to be damned hard to convince.
At Bandung , not too far away one can buy Rolex watches (and every other luxury brand) that are perfect working clones of the originals that fool watchmakers..... $8,000 watches for less than $200 so not too much of a stretch to apply the pricing ratio to
marine engines but I would doubt the warranty and would like to see a
photo shoot of the actual engine and engine number before committing to a transaction.
