Re: I Tried to do a Search on Algae-X, but...

"I sent a couple of emails to the two addresses that he offered without attachments and it was still kicked back. "
So there's the first problem.

When I wanted to discuss reqiring a breaker panel with a partner, his corporate IT department blackholed my messages and called him down to HR because the topic had been "AC/DC Breakers?" and their porn filter didn't like "AC/DC".

Then of course if you are using pooled IP addresses, sometimes you're just on an address that was totally banned because someone else misued it.

So you each call your ISP or IT department or whatever support and ask them what's going on. And if it still doesn't work, you put your files in plain text format, tested for malware, and take it to an internet cafe and send the mail from there.

Or just print it out and drop it in the mail. Or FAX IT to an efax or jfax account, which will put it in his mail. Or just mail the guy a set of first-class round-trip air tickets to come and pikc the papers up in person.

Hey, the bill ain't coming to me. <G>

Re: I Tried to do a Search on Algae-X, but...

I just tried again from my gmail account. We use a third party provider for our business account and we have not typically had any problems. it does have a .ca extension so perhaps his server does not like the extension. Who knows? Let's see. I feel that the whole point of the exercise will not satisfy so is probably pointless to try.

Re: I Tried to do a Search on Algae-X, but...

Delivery to the following recipient failed permanently:

______@verizon.com (I hid the address as I am not sure he wants it public)

Technical details of permanent failure:
Google tried to deliver your message, but it was rejected by the recipient domain. We recommend contacting the other email provider for further information about the cause of this error. The error that the other server returned was: 550 550 #5.1.0 Address rejected. (state 13).

This is what I was given.

again - rejected my gmail. The second address has not kicked back to any of my emails. Could it be in your junk mail folder?

Curious how among all the people, businesses, corporations, associations and advertisers, you are the only one who couldn't send me an email successfully. Or maybe it's the effect of the Algae-X efficacy testing???

Steadfast-
"eg Algae-X magnetic device out of circulation... IT IS NOT! LOL "
Where did I say out of circulation? I said that the company NO LONGER SHOWS IT AS A PRODUCT, it is apparently no longer for sale except from resellers who are still stuck with new old stock, who are still selling them.
I said they ARE still being sold. And Algae-X no longer lists them as a product for sale.
Now, hand over the rum, you've obviously had enough. I'll just detoxify the rest of it for you. Watch carefully now, I'm gonna use magnets.<G>

Re: I Tried to do a Search on Algae-X, but...

Hahaha, Mate.. you are a crack up guy...

The product is on their website, located under the products tab and then select ALGAE-X FUEL CONDITIONERS
Diesel Fuel Filtration - Diesel Fuel Conditioning | ALGAE-X International | fuel conditioners

I apologise for my error, but you will find it is still for sale by them directly.. I purchase them directly, as recently as last week.

Now... hand back that rum

Re: I Tried to do a Search on Algae-X, but...

Very interesting, the product line comes and goes. It must be true then, that they know MAGIC! Heck, they've even managed to get their pages not to show up on the wayback machine. POWERFUL MAGIC!

But if you're going to keep buying them, I'm keeping the rum. You know you shouldn't drink rum while buying powerful magic, it could be worse than operating heavy machinery. <VBG>

Someone else asked so I forwarded the original emails to them and they got through. I am disillusioned!

Re: I Tried to do a Search on Algae-X, but...

Illusions... Well, what a busy time we have had since these last posts. The emails came through to me no problems from Aloha, I had some product delivered and put it straight to work. The Fuel Right SOLUTION (as it is more than just an additive) is astounding... Tested alongside some of the mainstream products here in Australia and it blew them away.

Well, you might say we have kangaroo's in our diesel or Koala's in our filters... But now, thanks to Fuel Right, we no longer have any sludge in our tanks, systems or engines...

I seriously suggest you check to make sure the 'Dingoes didn't eat that email'...

"The Fuel Right SOLUTION (as it is more than just an additive) "
See, in Colonial, if you ADD the solution into your fuel tank, it is an additive. If you disconnect the fuel lines and just run the engine on the solution, it is a SOLUTION rather than an additive. And if you can just sprinkle it over the engine, make a benediction and fix things that way? It's just Holy Water, you can buy that locally. <VBG>

Is it supposed to break up sludge into particles that are small enough to pass through the filters (2micron?) and get consumed? Or convert the sludge into a fluid molecule that flows through and gets burned? Or just put the sludge into solution as partciles so the filters can strain it out?

Re: I Tried to do a Search on Algae-X, but...

I can't believe that this thread is still alive after 5 years. I was interested in it back in 2008 because the PO had installed these magic units on my boat which I purchased in 2006. I didn't even find them until 2008 and wondered what they were. Since they don't seem to cause any ill effects I have left them installed. I have not had any major algae problems so they must be working right. Like not getting killed by lightning because you are wearing a special copper braclet.lol

Re: I Tried to do a Search on Algae-X, but...

I get the skepticism but notice that not a single person here claims direct personal experience, probably because the very idea of spending any money on them is repellent. They worked for me.

Tino Mastry, the Yanmar dealer in St Pete Florida, believes in the Algae-x magnets. He has been around the block with diesels a few times. I had two smoker 3208's that got better after I installed the AX magnets.

A small group of people I trust in marine diesel matters use and think highly of the magnets. That said I understand the mockery and jeering. I know It looks a bit like believing in Santa Claus. But hey, if I'm nuts I'm at least happy so why worry?
