How to Remove Yanmar Pre-Combustion Chamber ?

I am getting the injectors on my Yanmar GM30 diesel serviced. The precombustion chamber which has an upper & lower half with heat resistant packing are proving impossible to remove. I have tried turning the engine over with the injectors out t blow them out without joy. Is there a puller for this part?

probably a decent amount of carbon build up in there. Get a 90* pick in the center hole and work it up slowly.

G'day Paul,
Use a small screw driver to remove any carbon ridge over washer and spacer then use a s/driver with the end bent at right angle start first with washer then spacer one at a time a small amount of crc will help some times a couple of wacks with a dowel drift will help the dislodge process.

I found that using 2 picks helps by pulling it up so it doesn't bind, but other than that, what never monday says works great! Get good ones though, the first set I bought from a home improvement store had plastic handles and they snapped apart. I went to a tool store and bought a nice all-metal set for a few bucks.
