I've been following this forum for quite some time but this is surely my first or second post ever! Ive got a Volvo Penta
Md21a which is sitting in the back of my van awaiting to be signed of and put into my diy project
, a Hallberg Rassy
Guys.... Whats the wiring
procedure to try and start an inboard diesel engine
So far ive figured to connect
+ --> Starter engine
- --> ground on the engine body
I did this and as i turned the ignition key etc i got life from the instruments. Seemed to be working. But when i turned to start. It only clicked and did nothing. It did not pull at all. why? worth to mention is that my 162ah battery was at 12.45amps. But it should still pull?
Any MD21a tips are really welcome.
