HELP! Perkins "obsolete" fuel timing tool

Hey community, theres a Perkins fuel timing tool #21825510
I have contacted them and they say it is obsolete, they don't make it
and eff me they don't know how we do it these days. Is there a modern tool for this job> I understand many of you will reply with "just time it manually" with how the motor sounds/runs. But I was wondering if there was a way to get it more accurate. Is there anything out there?
