Can anyone help ID this Diesel engine in a recently acquired 27’ O’Day 1975 model?

Thanks again for the info on the engine. Here is a small video of it running from my last trip over to the boat.

I should be able to add something to the ‘Hi, I’m Bill’ section soon. Had a tree fall on my house during the past month, so guess what, that was the perfect time to suggest selling the land and getting a bigger boat. Hahahaha

The land is sold now. Never let a crisis go to waste.

Sounds pretty good,
My ladyfriend had a Farymann in her boat in Ca. & I thought it was a fair bit smoother & quieter than our single cylinder Yanmar. It was a struggle to find parts for but luckily I only had to rebuild water pump & got the bearings & seals from a bearing supply. Local diesel mechanic gave up on trying to get parts.
Feed it clean fuel do the oil & filter changes as per spec & hopefully you wont have to buy any parts.
