Gearbox Ratio for 42' Leopard Cat

I need to know what is the correct gearbox ratio for a pair of Yanmar 3JH4E engines installed in a 42' leopard catamaran. Year model is unknown at this time. There is a Kanzaki KM3A-2.33 on one side and a KM3A-2.04 or possibly a 2.64 on the other side. Dealer says it is 2.64, there is no 2.04.
I'm trying to assist a delivery skipper stranded in Tahiti with the 2.04 or 2.64 (whichever it proves to be) with a replacement. The main issue is why they are different ratios. Was it by design to install different ratios or was it just because it was available.
Any info will be appreciated or any info on where to go for a good answer.

Logic says : same both sides equal therefore = Kanzaki KM3A-2.33
