The Model number for that Velvet Drive does not ring a bell.
What year and on what HP engine?

Not much Help - The BMW D50 was usually coupled with a Hurth Gear Box.

IF your are sure that the gearbox is Borg Warner; Then likely the model is either a 71C 0r 72C Velvet Drive.

So your best bet is to take good quality pictures of the gearbox from all angles, which should give a better fix on the ID of your gearbox.
