plug is equivalent to #2 SAE fitting available at hydraulic shops and online. This is the key part!
An
elbow, a 2" nipple and a valve, and I now turn the valve handle 90deg, and the old fluid is piped a few inches away from the
engine into my waiting coffee can. Zero mess. No more mirrors taped to the starboard
water tank!
Life is good.
I drilled the orifice in the#2 fitting a little larger to speed up the flow, but every thing else is stock.
