Can we put a primary filter before the
pump and then put a secondary filter after the
pump? I understand the 12 inch and 48 inch
rule, regarding pump distance to
engine and length of pressure hose to carb.
How about setting up like this
tank, antisiphon valve, selection valves for either tank, primary
water sep filter, pump, secondary
water sep filter,
regulator, carb.
Doing this will put the
regulator after the secondary water sep filter.
The pump-filter-regulator can be joined together by piping in a
single in line arrangement. The filter is rated to 100 PSI so pressure issue is moot, IMO.
