Cylinder head stuck

Hello there,

I am trying to pull the cylinder head off my Renault marine 2 cylinder but it seems to be stuck with a bolt I cannot find..
I got all the main bolts out and on 3 corners there is some play but the front right corner seems to be stuck somewhere but I can't seem to locate the bolt...
Any suggestions?

I thought this would be the case.. but I just wanted to make sure before I destroy something..

MANY decades ago I had the same problem on a small car engine. The bolt was there, I asked some old guy for help and he put his finger right on it.

I drove Renault’s for a long time. It’s probably a bolt somewhere you can’t see.

If you can wiggle it that should give you some idea where it is.

Don't force it. Actually, that may be the answer, but before you do that, rotate the head back and forth. There is a point of rotation, the center of the circle. That's where your bolt is. Hpeer speaks with wisdom.

I got it loose! Forcing it was the solution..

So does the same go for the exhaust manifold?
Can't find another connection and there is also no play whatsoever
