Comperable electric outboard to a Mercury 9.9

I know this is heresy to my 4 stroke brethren, but my luck maintaining an outboard so it runs reliably is, for lack of a better word, '*****'. Additionally, my wife doesn't have the same upper body strength to reliably start the engine.

Have any electric outboards matured to a point where they have similar power and some degree of range? We're heading to FtL to have a solar arch installed so, power options are better.

Cheers,

Elco has electric outboards with higher horsepower like that. Battery capacity, weight, and cost are issues.

Gas outboards with electric start are often easy enough to fire up.
