Clutches vs cones - which last longer?

ZF claims their clutches can last as little as 1200 hours if they are subject to frequent movement in and out of gear. Twindisc uses cones but I don't have similar data.

What has been your experience in needing to repair ZF and Twindisc transmissions? Does one technology have any inherent advantage or disadvantage?
