CAV fuel filter / glass bowl type

Are the arrows on the CAV fuel filter / glass bowl type there as a guide only?
Just that the fuel lines on mine have been reversed, ie fuel flows against the arrow direction. It works ok, so have not reversed installation.

The arrows should be followed so that the fuel enters the glass bowl first where heavy sediment and water can collect. After that it goes though the filter element and out the "out" arrow.

There are two inlets and two outlets; you can any one of each.

First post by you so welcome aboard!!!!
