Can Yanmar Starter Solenoid be Repaired?

I had similar issues on my 3gm30f. ran a new white wire directly from ignition to the starter solenoid, replaced solenoid cause I damaged the copper studs, added a starter relay. The real problem was the ground wire from the starter to the engine ground was loose where it attaches to the transmission cable guide/support bracket at the back of the engine.

after I found and fixed that, no more problems.........years of putting up with that, and it was just a loose ground.

Have replaced both of mine with similar units from the auto store. Way cheaper than Yanmar.
