Best mail order source for Yanmar parts?

When I needed Yamaha outboard parts, I was very happy with boats.net in terms of price and shipping time.

Now I am in need of maintenance parts for Yanmar 150HP diesel (model 4BY3-150). Mostly filters, zincs, etc.

What do people think is the best mail order source for these parts? Thanks.

BTW, I am in Florida.

It has been my experience that real Yanmar parts are hard to get shipped because Yanmar has a pretty strict territory protection setup for their parts suppliers....you’ll probably need to find you’re local Yanmar parts dealer and order from them.

I've found this to be true, I have ordered some Yanmar parts from various sources on Amazon but prices are little better than available from local authorized dealer. NAPA has WIX brand filters for both oil and to fit Racor fuel filters. I get a lot of parts from an auto/marine parts store about a block from the harbor that carries impellors, filters etc.

ToadMarineSupply.com sells Yanmar parts to the east coast. I believe they are an authorized dealer. Their prices are about what you'd pay at a local dealer, but the convenience may be worth it to you.

I've found the Yanmar dealer network on the west coast to be very frustating. Not only is the nearest dealer 25 miles from my home, they are often out of stock, requiring several weeks delay and a ridiculous shipping charge. Yanmar parts distribution needs to join the 21st century.
