4.108 with a Hurth, can I make it work with a Velvet Drive?

Hi
I am repowering my Morgan OI where it sits in the Bahamas at anchor. I removed a 4.108 with no compression which had a velvet drive attached. The velvet drive still had pink fluid in it and I think it could possibly work on the new 4.108 I am installing. BUT - as I remember (2.5 years ago now) the Velvet drive had some hoses off of it that ran to an oil cooler which was attached to my old motor. This gear is still aboard but my current 4.108 - a newer model by a decade - has no fittings for the oil cooler ass far as I can tell. Can I make the Velvet drive work with the 4.108 I have now?
thanks

If you have the oil cooler/tranny cooler all you need is a few hydraulic hoses and some 90 degree cooling hoses. Probably cheaper than a new tranny. Might take some time sourcing depending on your location or maybe salvage from the old engine. The oil cooler is a bolt on part you could mount it on a bulkhead a few feet away if you really wanted.
