0324891 Evinrude/Johnson Carb Float Gauge - pics & measurements sharing

Bought a hard to find float gauge # 0324891 that my 1980 Evinrude 140 hp V4 manual calls for adjusting the floats in their closed position level (holding the carb upside down-so needle valve closed by weight of float).

This gauge covers many Evinrude/Johnson engines.

Thought I’d post measurements and pics for anyone trying to adjust their float without access to a gauge.
The cut outs seem to have a 1/16" taller measurement for narrower floats. It's all illustrated on the paper diagram I made from outlining and measuring the gauge pockets.

Thanks for the info. I’ve been having issues with my 1989 15HP Johnson and will be checking the float position. Any input on the drop measurements? I have read 25-35 mm. Does that sound correct to you?
