who says you need to be light to be a performance catamaran ?

Light is relative. The Gunboat 72 comes in at 33t and the 80 at 34t, while the Lagoon Seventy 7 comes in at 66t (lightship!). So Allegra is actually pretty light in her class. Not racing trimaran light, but still pretty light.

Looks like it was a lot of fun, with come pucker factor.
