Re: Which Catamaran do you Think Looks Best

The Gunboats get a lot of fanfare, but I think they are ugly. They evidently don't think you will ever want to walk to the edge of the hull to look into the water either as they round the hulls off to slippery radius! Reminds of those Phallic looking Bayliner speedboats....

Unsurprisingly many owners have chosen their own... my interest in sailing was initially spurred by a Sunreef 58 like this one (if it attaches)

The Barramundi looks pretty damn good to me, as do Shuttleworths, pre-1994 Catanas, or earlier Outremers.

Cheechako, I tend to agree with you with respect to the latest Gunboat designs. However, four weeks ago I was anchored beside the original Gunboat 62 'Tribe' (recently refit) off Anguilla and she looked postively stunning with her new black topsides (and sails)!

Yes Mike's Mojo is an extremely fast and sexy cat. This would blow the door handles of just about all production cats. A cruising cat that can actually sail on all points . A rare breed.

Gives me the horn!

Probably a 'spartan' cruiser at best though ... the Cruise variant, with the additional payload, probably qualifies a little better into the cruising cat definition.

I appreciate that's pretty subjective.

I'd quite like a 1500C...

Just to add a designer not yet mentioned:

Let's add this one too. I remember when this one came up for sale some years ago.
