What’s with Crowther cats?

It seems like they are markedly cheaper than other cats of the same vintage. I like their hull design better than most more modern cats. What are people’s general opinion of them?

Crowther was mainly a designer, problem may be you will not know who actually built it, apart from early Catanas.

Lock died 25 years ago so his boats are not as modern as new ones.

That said they sail well and are seaworthy. Loch was a real sailors designer with lots of miles in his own boats. You could go far far worse than a Loch Crowther cat.
