What is the oyster marine of the catamarans? It's personal

Hello everybody
What is the catamaran builder whose quality, seaworthiness, philosophy is nearest to the boats of OYster Marine (especially the turn of the century ones)
The question may sound ludicrous, but I love the Oysters, and I would seriously consider buying one if it had two hulls.
My wife will only accompany me on the sea on a catamaran, and I must say, I like them much more too.
But roughly 25 years ago, I was in long term unemployment, running out of money, ideas and hope. I was living in Düsseldorf, and we got free tickets to the Boots fair.
I wanted to visit some Beneteau, Jeannot, and other French yards, but I was not exactly looking very rich, and I got snobbed in the most insolent way. (I am from Périgord, France, and I never forget a slight)

Strangely enough, the sales people of Oyster did not snob me and took time on their lunch pause to show me their boats, although I did not know a thing about blue sailing (or sailing for that matter).
I immediately fell in love with this type sailboat, (and I am immensely grateful to Oyster and their salespeople)



Now, I had a lot of chance professionally, and I am starting to look for a bigger catamaran (I own a sirocco 26 from Prout)

Which catamaran builder who be nearest to Oyster in terms of philosophy, interior etc.?

Obviously highly subjective but most folks class Leopard with the mass build charter market along with Lagoon and FP (I have an FP I like very much so not trying to be snobby). Maybe they're considered the higher end of the three but still it's in the Ford, Chrysler, GM class. The Seawind is mostly operated by owners, which puts it in a different class, although probably not considered as high end as Outremer. Catana (except the Bali) is another brand generally considered higher end in the cat world.

I’m a monohull manatee but when I first saw a Chris White foil mast catamaran I was shocked by how elegantly designed she was. I don’t know what is called or who built it but she had sailed a long way with just a crew of two.
Simply beautiful. Obviously very fast.
Classy, brassy, no dock bunny for marina hopping. A beautiful yacht.
Again, I don’t know cats but I know a real sailing yacht when I see one.
Can someone here please supply the name.

Chris white mast foil cats were all (likely) built by Alwoplast in Chile.

Thank you ! Atlantic 47 if I recall. Chris and I come from the same small town, South Dartmouth. The first boat I lofted was a cat...a catboat..
He is an excellent designer and the foil mast a fantastic rig.
All the manatee crew tip their caps .

Oyster is a la cart whereas Beneteau, Jennot and the like are MacDonalds. Nothing wrong with Mac just that they work to a menu and customers take it or leave it. Lagoon, FP and Leopard are the MacDonalds of catamarans. For a quality a la cart catamaran Dazcat and Baltec are your go to Michelin stars.

Privilege or as someone else mentioned, Discovery. Not sure you can buy a new Discovery though.

When I was buying my boat, I was on a Privilege 585 at Southampton boat show. I was talking to the guy on the 585 and he said he'd had an order in for a new Oyster which he had cancelled and ordered a 585 instead.

Alwoplast closed down so I'm not sure about the future of Chris White cats. They did have a catastrophic mast failure with a mast foil and CW stepped up to the plate and got a new one delivered pronto if that partially answers the OPs questions.
