Hi Dave, curious why you mounted the poles to the tack rather than the mast like traditional spinnaker/whisker poles. Your Privilege has the advantage of a nose, not sure how that would work with the normal cross beam and gull striker, don't imagine there would be huge longitudinal load on the poles, but enough.

As a suggestion, I would recommend the use of a snatch block such as
snatch blocks-antal attached to the fore deck to use with the sock control line. This will make your “pull” to raise/lower the sock safer by pulling up from the deck and not lifting yourself into the air.
