Used Boat Show Anywhere?

Just wondering if they have a in water used boat show anywhere. I saw a couple of boats in Miami, have not been to Annapolis yet, I would think with the number of boats for sale someone would put together a large in water Boat Show like Miami or Annapolis. Think it would be a winner to have 30-100 used sailboats that people ready to buy could go and kick some tires all in one place for a few days.

Is there such a thing??

When we lived in San Francisco in the late '70's there was a "Pre-Owned" Boat Show every year in Alameda, near the Barn Hill Marina across from Jack London Square. We weren't in the market for a replacement boat but used to attend simply to see what inovations other's had come up with. From what I recall, it seemed that quite a few boats were actually sold at these events.

That is why I was wondering why I have never heard of such an event. I would think it would go over very well if it were done in the Miami or Annapolis boat show style.

Some new boat dealers are there but there are many owner sellers there. Cost X dollars and you can put your boat in the show. You don't really know what's there until you get there.
