trimaran bridle for Anchors, Sea Anchors and Drogues

Hi,
Working out my set-up for coastal cruising and minor off-shoring for my Searunner 25' Trimaran.

Wanted to have people list out what they have set up and what is working?

For the main anchor I will be using three strand nylon, I would like to get some input on the length of the bridle and where I should use snatch blocks,

For my sea anchor I will be using braided nylon. Should I use the same line and swap it out for the drogue? or get a second line for the drogue?

Spices/ eyes / Knots / blocks?

Is that correct that your Para-Anchor is only 6 foot diameter? Isn't that too small to hold the boat in a big blow?

Nylon is stretchy which is good off the bow for anchoring and sea anchor, but off the stern you want non-stretch rode so the distance between boat and wave crests stays the same, with boat on crest at same time as the drogue.

Yes 6' is good up to a 30' boat at 10k lbs. my trimaran is 25' and will be under 6k lbs loaded.

Re: trimaran bridle for Anchors, Sea Anchors and Drogues

We have a cat but for regular anchoring, we simply use a 50' nylon dockline as a bridle.

Quick and easy to tie a Pruisic (spelling?) in the middle to attach it to the anchor line, cleat off the ends of the dock line to either bow and then let out a little more anchor line so the bridle takes up the strain. (takes maybe 2 minutes to implement)

It's easy to slide up and down if you need to adjust and requires no special hardware. Easy to adjust if you want to turn the boat into waves when the waves and wind don't quite line up.
