Re: Surveyor Recommendation in Bay Area
I would not use anyone other than Rodgers and Associates, in Santa Cruz, Ca.

Sounds like two good recommendations. I appreciate both of them!

I haven't used him myself, but I have heard multiple recommendations for Pete Brown (surveypete@tampabay.rr.com).

Re: Surveyor Recommendation in Bay Area
I believe the OP meant the Bay area in San Fran.

Re: Surveyor Recommendation in Bay Area
I second Fransoise Ramsay. Very knowedgable. I dont think she advertises anymore. Word of mouth keeps her busy. Another one to consider is John Marples. I believe he lives in Sonoma county. Good Luck. _____Grant.

There are a lot of Bays around the world, meaning a lot of Bay areas. As the OP was completely non-specific, we could both be wrong. Perhaps he really meant the Bay of Biscay area.

After he posted thanks for the two from the SF Bay Area?
By the way, OP might check with the Latitude 38 folks. They have two Cats, I believe, and know most all the major players in THE "Bay Area"..

Except for the fact that he is on the west coast...I'm just sayin.

When you're on an international forum, assuming that everyone in the world will know what you mean by "bay area" is rather presumptuous... I'm just sayin.

Re: Surveyor Recommendation in Bay Area
Let me guess. You're from California, aren't you? Just because everyone in California immediately thinks of San Francisco when someone says "the bay area," that doesn't mean that everyone everywhere does likewise.
I was simply trying to subtly point out that on an international forum one should be reasonably specific, and not assume that everyone in the world will know where you are, or what you mean by vague terms like "the bay area." If the subtlety is lost on you, that's unfortunate.
It's a big world. And it is a World Wide Web. That is something worth remembering.
Now go ahead and have the last word. I am not inclined to beat my head against a brick wall.

Re: Surveyor Recommendation in Bay Area
you're absolutely, positively right den. Always have been and always will be. You have correctly assessed all the information and concluded correctly once again. Looking forward to all your future wisdom. Can I have your autograph?

ah - Internet wars! Everybody is right and nobody wins! One person is technically correct. One is materially correct.
We need an arbiter. How about Google (the Dark Empire...)
