Still floating....!!!

After a missile attack. I think someone on here was down on Incat's Catamarans but you'd have to give them credit for being robust!

Ahhh, that'll buff right out...

Not pretty, but still afloat. Dunno why anyone would be critical of such damage from hostile action, though. More conventional warships have been sunk by missile attack...

Most anti-ship missiles don't have enough explosives or hit low enough to directly sink a modern ship - whether the ship survives really depends on the ability of the crew/luck of which systems are operational to control fire damage.

She being an aluminium trimaran, she is relatively light for her volume - problem is with all aluminium ships, the lessons we learned from accidents and the Falklands is that aluminium superstructures burn badly. Hence the USN moving back to all steel for the Arleigh Burke.

I would be surprised if she's refitted and ever sails again.
