The Resort is joint ownership between George and St Francis boats - its named after the boats which are named after St Francis Bay in South Africa. Basically it is the St Francis set up near to the USA for the USA.

I am retiring this year from the day job but I founded a number of businesses which did include internet businesses, fly line manufacturing businesses and specialist video production businesses etc. I enjoy the video side very much. I cannot believe how little use is made of video by the boating world. I am in the process of building up stock footage on boats hence my open invitation.

The biggest problem I encounter in shooting video is that nothing waits for me - it is happening as we go and there is seldom any understanding or opportunity to repeat and shoot from another angle. Another one is that people know often forget that they are not only on video but on sound as well - so I can be shooting a video a video and people strike up a conversation with me as I am shooting!!! It's rather funny.

Maybe Gludy doesn't like me.
I have tried to watch the video on four different computers now and it only ever gets to 3:10 then stops
Bugger

What bandwidth have you got?

I can post the smaller bandwidth version if you still have the problem.

I have the same problem, after 3:10, on my Linux-box, but not on an old XP-box. Both using Firefox.
I suspect it's a well known problem with Adobes Linux version of Flash. Basically they have just one programmer on the task, that is not too familiar with linux programming!

What's your setup Whimsical ?

After testing low bandwidth version:
OK this version works on my LInux/Firefox. Probably some buffer problem in the Linux driver, that shows up in the high bandwidth version.

G'day,

Great video, look forward to the other ones.

If you are ever in Holland, Finland or Australia with your video gear and want to shoot some harryproa videos, please let me know.

If anyone has trouble I can produce the video in any format that works for you - just let me know.

You do need Flash 9 or later to view.

Basically Ditto to what everyone else is saying really nice vid, plus very impressed with the light airs performance of the SF50.
Looking forward to your follow ups.
You could always practice sailing your new SF50 on the Gludy lakes
