Southport Cats on the Gold Coast - Australia

Some pics from an hour or two out in the Zodiac at Southport on the Gold Coast a few weeks back. Just barely scratching the surface in the time I had.

See if you can spot the damage on one of them. Quite a hole!

that was a nasty hole... WOW... but all in all those are some very nice vessels.

Looks like a failure rather than impact - but I could be wrong. Thats a fairly old boat, be about 20 years old? Its a simpson I think.

The last photos in the first set is a very good local designer, cheap cats to build (comparatively speaking) the EASY series. That one was the designers own boat for a while (Peter Snell).

The top of the hole is round, It looks like it has hit a peir or post,

The most impressive kit in the pics could be the Zodiac, it looks WAY over powered!
