Source for understanding multihull service projects

Other than reading through various threads on here, is there a consolidated reference where you can get a decent understanding of what some potential boat work on a multihull would be?

Example - say you are comparing a couple of boats for purchase and one needs a new standing rig (say it's 15 years old) and one probably needs some diesel work (say engines have 5000+ hours) - without having done this before how would you ROM estimate time/$$ for each? I know the engine one may be a bad example because the variability on that is quite large anything from basic service to new engines... but you get the idea.

Why not just get quotes from service companies, riggers, etc?

Every boat is different, so very hard to generalize.

Narrow down your questions and you can get specific answere here. For example, "What does it cost to replace all standing rigging on a Fontain Pajot Belize?". There are owners/pros here who can answer that question.
