How do you find the streched version. What speeds are you doing?

Any suggestions where I can get more information on extending a Simpson Inspiration?

Did you extend it your self.

I have the short version 10.5m and consider streching her. The max speed seams to be about 8kn.
Thanks

Re: Simpson cloud 12

Thanks and noted. Unfortunately our Simpson Inspiration dream fell apart in Mandurah, WesternAustralia.

The local diesel bloke quoted $6-8k to do new seals, injectors, pumps etc and bring them back to speed. Based on that we bought the cat.

When his bill kept goin up and up (to $33,700) for very basic things like new seals o rings, bushes, a new part here and there , we blew the cruising fund and ended up selling the thing to try and get our money back.
Stay away from Mandurah WA

There's a new listing for a Simpson Cloud 12 (https://yachthub.com/list/yachts-for...tamaran/254488) in Sydney. I'll try resurrecting this thread to see if anyone has any new insights into Simpson's. She was a real nice boat when I saw her this weekend.
