Its not only under my posts..
If you look above the Avatar picture to the left of every post it says.. Freelance Delivery Skipper..
Where many folk usually put type of boat/s owned and their location.
CF can provide a lot of info on its members if the members are not shy.. not a weakness for me..

A Med to Caribbean delivery for your cat would be in the region of €8K to €14K depending which end of the Med the start point is..
For transporting on board a ship try contacting Sevenstar.. they do regular Med to US yacht deliveries
Agree with Boatman. For 40.000 € I would do both ways from Med to Caribbean an back.

Re: Shipping a cat

This is the second time I've seen it thread on shipping a catamaran., I've always wondered why not just sail it yourself when you have the time ? I know they'll be wear and tear on the equipment but for $40,000 for shipping I'd rather put new equipment on my boat.

Re: Shipping a cat

None of the transport quotes I have received have been that high. Most have been under $20K. Even at a similar price my experience to date tells there is a lot to be said for minimal wear and tear.

Well a Bali 4.5 cost $27K from Palma to St Thomas on Sevenseas so for a 38ftr around $20K sounds about right as deck cargo from the W Med..
If yours is a similar type ship it.. theyre not designed for blue water.
