Follow up:

I have recently received information regarding this whole situation with my friend's Seawind. It appears that much of the problems can be attributed to inexperience, and poor planning on the part of the owners... And cannot be attributed directly to Seawind.. I've also found out that Seawind has taken care of all of the issues for them....

A 1190 was washed out to sea recently in australia and recovered 50km from it's mooring. Some footage of it in breakers. No one onboard the whole time.
