Try calling Multihull Central in Sydney. They are the Australian agents for Seawind and agents for a number of insurance companies, they know the boat and this can help in the process

Sorry, Seaskip, we know of at least half a dozen cruisers who are with Velos, via Baileys but have no stories about claims. We managed a few thousand sea miles in the last 4 months but by coincidence and luck had nothing go wrong.

One point to consider is that all companies usually have hefty excesses ("deductibles") but some have policies that waive this for damage thar occurs in a marina. For us, a lightning strike causing damage to electronics in a marina is a likely scenario and perhaps this worth asking about.

( I bet a lot of good management with the luck too)
I'm learning a lot about insurance. Mostly the easy way from you folks.
