Sailing a Lagoon 440 from Pasito Blanco, Gran Canaria to Palma, Mallorca in March 15

I will be sailing a Lagoon 440 with a crew of 3 from the Canaries to Mallorca Spain in March of 2015. Never been in these waters before and I am looking for info from those who have. Considerations on routes, prevailing winds, weather, temps, tips and general info from those who have is what I am in search of. Thanks inadvance!

Did it few years ago but in summer. In March/April could be a "cool" trip, Temp. around 15°C,
mostly N, NE, near coast and strong winds,danger of gales.. it ' s Spring. Heading to Madeira for safety passage, wait for a weather window and rush to Gib.
